Simply put, reflective practice is a way of thinking about your experiences to improve the way you do things.
- What did I do well?
- What impact did I have?
- What might I have done better?
- What will I continue doing?
- What will I stop doing?
- What will I start doing:
- Repeat!
Ghaye, (2001) enforces this belief by saying that the purpose of reflection is to improve our coaching practice, as well as understanding it better, which then improves the context in which our coaching takes place.
